Micro-Recovery™
Entertainment & touring
Recovery for life on the road.
Breathwork, accessible movement, and grounding practices for artists and crews—built around rehearsals, travel, and show days.

Support that Fits Your Day
You don’t always have an hour to step away. Sometimes you have three minutes before soundcheck, a quiet moment backstage, or a short break between responsibilities.
Together, we develop practical routines for those moments:
-
Before the show: Simple grounding and breathing practices to settle and focus.
-
Between demands: Brief movement resets for time spent traveling, standing, or working in confined spaces.
-
After the show: Gentle practices to transition out of the intensity of performance and production.
-
Across the tour: Repeatable recovery habits that artists and crew can use independently.

Participation is always invitational, with options for different comfort levels, mobility, and experience.
Ways to Work Together
Support can begin with a single workshop or continue throughout a tour. Each offering is shaped around your team’s needs, available space, and schedule.

Pre-Tour Workshops
Give artists and crew a shared set of practical tools before heading out. Workshops introduce breathing techniques, accessible movement, grounding, and brief recovery practices for demanding days. Together, we identify where these tools can fit naturally...from travel days and soundcheck to the transition after a show.

Backstage & Rehearsal Sessions
Create a moment to pause within a busy production schedule. Sessions might include a five-minute breathing practice, a movement reset between rehearsals, or a longer yoga class during downtime. Options range from energizing movement to gentle stretching and stillness, with adaptations for different experience levels.

Ongoing Tour Support
Build recovery into the rhythm of the tour. Direct support can combine in-person visits, virtual sessions, and simple practice guides for artists and crew to use independently. We adjust the approach as schedules and needs change, helping the team develop routines they can carry from one venue to the next.

Individual Artist & Crew Sessions
Offer private support tailored to the person and how they are feeling that day. Sessions may include yoga at any experience level, guided breathwork, somatic movement, meditation, or sound. The focus may be preparing for a performance, easing tension after travel, or finding a quiet moment away from the demands of the day.

Restorative Sound & Downtime Experiences
Make intentional space to reset the nervous system. Guided rest and sound experiences with singing bowls, chimes, gongs, and other instruments can be offered individually or to small groups. These sessions work well right before a performance, during days off, rehearsal breaks, or quieter evenings, with timing, volume, and instruments suited to the setting.

Team Retreats & Days Off
Create a more spacious opportunity to reconnect between demanding stretches of work. A half-day experience, full-day gathering, or retreat can combine yoga, sound, nature, reflection, and unstructured downtime. Compass & Core can help plan and facilitate the experience, including the logistics that make it easy for your team to participate.

Every offering is invitational, adaptable, and designed with respect for privacy, personal preferences, and the work your team is there to do.
