Roxanne Steed is a program leader, investigative analyst, entrepreneur, and global wellness facilitator with more than 20 years of experience guiding people and organizations through meaningful transformation. Her career spans federal investigations, international education, overseas program logistics, operations management, and holistic wellness-giving her a rare blend of strategic clarity, human-centered leadership, and global perspective.
Roxanne’s journey began in the Peace Corps, serving in Madagascar, which launched more than a decade of living and working around the world with the Peace Corps. She delivered training, operational support, and program logistics to offices across Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe, and Latin America; developed global training systems; managed accreditation processes; conducted investigative interviews; and partnered with international law-enforcement agencies—earning multiple awards for excellence. She later joined the GSA Office of Inspector General as a Senior Criminal Investigative Analyst, managing data-driven investigations, authoring technical policies and SOPs, and supporting high-priority federal operations with precision and integrity.
Having lived overseas and traveled to more than 60 countries, Roxanne brings a deeply global lens to everything she creates. As an entrepreneur, she co-owned and operated a successful business, leading strategy, operations, events, and staff development. Today, she channels her executive experience, global logistics background, and 20+ years of yoga practice into Compass & Core, her experiential design and retreat company. She specializes in crafting retreats that blend mindful yoga, meaningful hiking, nature immersion, and intentional ritual, helping people reconnect with themselves, with one another, and with what’s next.

Sabrina McGrath| Pilates Instructor and Movement Consultant | Retreat Facilitator
Sabrina has been passionate about movement and fitness since the early 1990s. After being introduced to Pilates by her mother, she was immediately hooked and began her journey toward becoming an instructor. Today, she is Peak Pilates Comprehensive Certified, Core Barre Certified, and additionally certified in osteoporosis and scoliosis. Her depth of knowledge is grounded in decades of study under renowned master instructors—two of whom she continues to train with weekly to expand, refine, and deepen her practice.
For Sabrina, Pilates isn’t just exercise—it’s a way of life. She believes movement is both medicine and prevention, and she is dedicated to teaching clients how Pilates can support injury recovery, cultivate alignment, and reduce the likelihood of future injuries. Her approach blends precision, mindful strengthening, and a deep understanding of functional movement.
Sabrina teaches Pilates, anatomy, and kinesiology at George Mason University, bringing an academic rigor and a wealth of practical knowledge to her classes. At retreats, her sessions are grounding, supportive, and transformative—helping participants reconnect with their bodies, build strength, and move with confidence and ease.
