Over five days, we’ll begin mornings with energizing Pilates, hike through glacial valleys and evergreen forests, explore charming cultural treasures, and close each day with restorative yoga and sound baths. Throughout the experience, we’ll cultivate genuine connection through shared adventures, quiet reflection, and joyful moments of community.

With beautiful accommodations and an intentionally small group of 8–12 participants, there is space to feel truly seen, supported, and at ease.

Accommodations:

Nestled on an acre in the heart of County Wicklow, The Woodcutter's Cottage is a thoughtfully built home surrounded by the natural beauty of Wicklow Mountains National Park. Located in the tranquil area of Knocknadroose, near the Blessington Lakes and Hollywood village, it serves as a peaceful home base for our group, supporting both nature adventures, morning Pilates or evening restorative yoga classes. Evenings invite us to slow down together, gathering around the fire pit to unwind, reflect, and connect beneath the Wicklow sky

Itinerary:

Below is a general overview of our itinerary. While this outline reflects the rhythm and flow of the retreat, Ireland’s weather, local conditions, and occasional new opportunities may invite thoughtful adjustments along the way. We remain flexible by design, allowing the experience to unfold in a way that best supports the group, the environment, and the moment, all while staying true to the heart of the retreat.

1) Pay in full at time of booking

2)  Pay $1600 deposit. You will receive an email for the remaining balance that  will be divided into two equal payments  due on  April 2 & June 2. Email info@compassandcore.com after payment stating the room you are reserving. 

All deposits are non-refundable, but may be applied towards a future Compass & Core retreat. 

DAY 1

Arrival, Grounding, Irish Welcome

Afternoon

  • Airport Pickup

  • Arrive at Wicklow Woodcutter's Cottage

  • Arrival yoga slow flow: grounding breathwork, light stretching

  • Intros + retreat orientation circle + setting intentions

  • Nature walk  

Evening 

  • Fáilte Night - Welcome dinner with locally sourced Irish dishes

  • Drinks & book club discussion (optional)​

DAY 2

Wicklow Mountain National Park Glendalough Valley + Sound Bath

Morning 

  • Energizing Pilates Session to awaken the core

  • Breakfast

  • Depart for Glandalough, Ireland's most iconic monastic valley

Afternoon

  • Hike the Glendalough Loop via The Spinc known as one of the most rewarding trails in Ireland! Moderate loop (optional) 7.8 miles featuring wooden pathways with stunning overlooks of the Upper Lake and the Paulanass Waterfall.

  • Picnic lunch by the water.

  • Quiet solo wander time: photography, journaling, nature connection.

Evening 

  • Return to retreat house

  • Dinner 

  • Restorative yoga & soundbath

DAY 3

Wicklow Mountains National Park Ballinastoe Wood to Djouce via Wicklow Way 

Morning 

  • Pilates to prep the body for hiking.

  • Breakfast

Late Morning/Afternoon

  • Guided hike through Wicklow Mountains National Park.

  • Stop at Lough Tay (Guinness Lake) one of Ireland’s most famous views.

  • Mindful walking meditation among the heather fields.

  • Light lunch on the trail.

Evening 

  • Return to retreat house

  • Deep stretch yoga

  • Dinner 

  • Stargazing, galactic night

DAY 4

Coastline, Culture, & Sea Air Reset

Morning 

  • Pilates to prep the body for hiking.

  • Breakfast

Late Morning/Afternoon

  • Head to the Bray Head Loop Walk— coastal views, sea breeze, and wildflowers.

  • Explore Greystones village (cute cafés, artisan shops).

  • Free time: Relaxation, naps, or journaling in nature.

  • Restorative Yoga

Evening 

  • Dinner

  • Group circle fire:  reflection on growth, insights, and connections.

DAY 5

Powerscourt Gardens, Waterfall & Cultural Immersion

Morning 

  • Pilates to prep the body for hiking.

  • Breakfast

Late Morning/Afternoon

  • Depart for Powerscourt Estate, one of Ireland’s most stunning cultural landmarks

  • Explore Powerscourt Gardens - voted among the top gardens in the world.
    Think: Italian terraces, Japanese gardens, hidden pathways, statues, and sweeping views of the Sugarloaf.

  • Journaling or sketching time in the gardens.

  • Visit Powerscourt House for artisan shops, Irish crafts, and local food items.

  • Lunch at the Powerscourt café overlooking the gardens.

  • Short drive to Powerscourt Waterfall, Ireland’s tallest waterfall.

  • Walking meditation at the base of the falls.

Evening 

  • Return to the retreat house

  • Restorative Yoga + Meditation focused on gratitude and integration.

  • Dinner & live music at Johnnie Fox's (The highest pub in Ireland, est. 1798.

DAY 6

Integration, Setting Future Intentions, Farewell

Morning 

  • Sunrise Yoga & Meditation — gentle, slow, and heart-centered.

  • Breakfast.

  • Closing intention-setting ceremony.

Late Morning

  • Pack, hugs, photos.

  • Depart with new friendships, clarity, and strengthened core & spirit.
